Gabriela E. Moreno, of El Paso, Texas, began dancing Folklórico at age four with Rodolfo Hernandez and Jorge Badillo and went on to dance with Ballet Folklórico Paso Del Norte for six years. Gabriela studied dance at the University of Texas at El Paso as a scholarship recipient and graduated in 2016 Suma Cum Laude with her BFA in Dance Performance. Gabriela was an original member of Human Nature Contemporary Ballet under the direction of Rafael Chavez and Jose Barraza (2015-2016). Gabriela attended the AlambradoDanza Intensive in Florence (2015) and attended The Ailey School Summer Intensive (2016). She moved to NYC shortly after to further her studies at the Ailey School and pursue her dance career. Gabriela is beyond excited to be dancing for Ballet Nepantla and alongside such a versatile group.
