Sumire Ishige (dancer)

Sumire (Sue) Ishige was raised in Greensboro, North Carolina. She graduated from the high school program at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, and graduated magna cum laude from Ailey/Fordham University. She has performed and toured with Boston Dance Theater, Parsons Dance Company, BARKIN/SELISSEN PROJECT, J Chen Project, and WHITE WAVE, and is the rehearsal director for Pony Box Dance Theatre. Sumire joined Ballet Nepantla in December 2023.
