Veronica Santana (dancer)

Veronica Santana, a Californian from West Covina, has always had a deep connection to rhythm and dance due to her Mexican and Native American -Mescalero Apache- heritage. From a young age, she found herself drawn to the art form and began her dance training at the age of five. It was during this time that Veronica discovered her lifelong dream of becoming a professional dancer. Throughout her dance journey, Veronica has honed her skills and become a technically trained and well-rounded dancer in various genres. However, her focus lies in ballet folklorico and traditional folklorico, where she truly shines. Her talent has led to incredible opportunities, including performing at sold-out theaters for the prestigious Grandeza Mexicana Folk Ballet company under the direction of Jose Vences . Veronica also owes a great deal of her growth and cherished memories to her time at Ballet Folklorico De Carolina, where she received invaluable training. In addition to her success in the dance world, Veronica's determination and love for challenges have driven her to achieve great heights. She proudly holds the title of a 3rd degree brown belt in Shaolin Kempo, showcasing her dedication and discipline. Now, Veronica eagerly looks forward to embracing the thrilling challenges that lie ahead as she joins Ballet Nepantla as their newest member.
